Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Hanfu Me (the “Service”), operated by the Hanfu Me team. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who can use Hanfu Me

You must be 18 or older to use the Service. You may upload only a photo of yourself, or of another adult who has given you their consent to upload and process their photo. You are responsible for having that consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to upload or use the Service to create:

• photos of minors, or any content that sexualizes minors;
• explicit, pornographic, violent, hateful, or harassing content;
• photos of a person without their consent, or that impersonate someone;
• content that is illegal or infringes anyone’s rights.

We automatically screen uploads and may refuse to process a photo, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your photo and the license you give us

You keep all rights to the photo you upload. You grant us a limited license to use that photo solely to generate your avatars and operate the Service. This license ends when processing finishes — we delete the original immediately afterward (see our Privacy Policy). We do not use your photo to train AI models.

Your avatars

As between you and us, the avatars generated from your photo are yours. You may use them on social media and elsewhere. Because outputs are generated by AI, we make no claim that a given avatar is unique or exclusive to you.

Credits, payments & refunds

Avatars are unlocked using credits purchased on the site. If a generation fails for a technical reason, the credit is returned to your balance. If you are unhappy with a set, we offer one free re-generation. Credits have no cash value and are not exchangeable for cash. Except where required by law, purchases of credits are non-refundable.

Intellectual property & complaints

The Service itself — its software, branding, and content — belongs to us or our licensors. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at hanfumeai@126.com with details and we will investigate and act as appropriate, including removing infringing content and terminating repeat infringers.

Service “as is”

Results are generated by AI and may vary; they may not meet your expectations. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and costs arising from your use of the Service, the photos you upload, or your violation of these Terms or of anyone’s rights (including uploading a photo without the required consent).

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
